Expansion

An Appeal is a persuasive argument, usually weak in most cases, to convince someone why something is good or bad. You can appeal to people’s reason, emotion, sense of authority, novelty, and tradition. It is typically considered an informal fallacy because the way appeals are often used in place of actual evidence.
